Give
Giving at Ashland is something we do together. It is one more way that God reminds us that the Christian life is not one lived in isolation from others, but rather lived in community. And whether you put a check in the offering plate on Sunday morning, use the online giving portal below or text to give, we give together. And we do it together so we can go on mission for Jesus Christ in Lexington, Oldham County and to the ends of the earth.
Budget Commitments
We have three budget commitments: Operating Fund, Ends of the Earth Fund, and Freedom Fund
The Operating Fund consists of all undesignated gifts given to the church. This fund includes our annual operating budget. This budget is affirmed by the congregation each year.
Our Ends of the Earth fund is vital to support our mission efforts. The first $40,000 given to Ends of the Earth goes to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering of the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. 100% of these funds go directly to missionaries serving around the world. Everything given above our annual goal goes to fund our hands-on church planting and mission efforts, like Oldham County and Peru.
The Freedom Fund allows us to aggressively eliminate our current Great Commission Center debt in order to be free to strategically give more, do more, and reach more for the sake of the Gospel.
Give Online
Giving online is easy and secure. Our online giving provider uses the same level of encryption that banks use for online banking. You can rest easy knowing that the highest level of security available is being used to keep your information safe.
Once you click the link below, you will be directed to our online giving partner’s site to set up your account. You do not have to set up an account, but we recommend it. You’ll be able to track your giving and set up recurring tithes.
One final note before you begin the process. You can use credit/debit cards or e-check to give online. If you are planning to use your credit card for tithing, we ask that you not incur debt in order to give to the church. If you are planning on giving from your checking account, we recommend using the e-check/ACH option rather than your debit card (click the check image on the top right). The fees associated with ACH transactions are much lower than debit cards.
Text to Give
We also offer text to give. Text to give uses the same secure system as our online giving platform. In order to use text to give, simply send a text message with the amount you wish to give to 859–951–3530. You will receive a reply with a link to complete a one-time set up. The set-up will link your bank account/card. After this one-time set up, just text the amount you would like to give and it will be deducted from your bank account or card. This will not show up on your phone bill.
You can also give to specific funds. Just text “100 freedom fund” or “100 ends of the earth” and those funds will be designated. All giving done via text without a designation will go toward the operating fund.
